France cries foul:
France says it is the victim of a smear campaign by the Bush administration
Well, at least their government isn't run by someone who is compared to Hitler by a Bush cabinet member. So far, at least, the Republican Party hasn't made ugly anti-Gaullism a core selling point to hold on to power. And they aren't trying to build an empire in the Middle East. Nor are they willing to shed the blood of brown people to take their oil and enrich their friends and financial supporters with sweetheart deals.
Hmm, better strike that last part.
